Claude connectors
Claude is Anthropic's assistant, and it is the platform in this directory most tightly bound to an open standard. Anthropic authored the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and documents it as the way a client such as Claude discovers and calls tools exposed by an external server. In practice that produces two quite different things a user might call a 'Claude connector'. The first is a first-party connector that Anthropic builds and supports, such as the Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 connectors, enabled from Claude's own settings. The second is a custom connector: a remote MCP server, operated by a tool vendor, a third party, or your own engineering team, which you register with Claude yourself. Anthropic documents the custom-connector path separately from the built-in connectors, and the distinction is the most consequential one on this platform. A first-party connector concentrates operational trust in Anthropic; a remote MCP server moves it to whoever runs the server, which means your organization inherits the uptime, patching and access-control responsibility along with the flexibility. Connector Scout therefore records connection type on every Claude record, and never presents an MCP-backed integration as though it were a supported first-party feature.
Quick answer
This page tracks which applications Claude can reach, using Anthropic's own documentation for every claim. 16 of 16 tracked records are documentation-verified; the rest stay unclaimed until a primary source supports them. The decision that matters is not how many integrations exist but whether the specific application you depend on is confirmed for your plan and admin settings, because Claude scopes each connectors and MCP servers separately.
