    MCP server security checklist published.

    New evaluation guide covering the MCP trust boundary, local versus remote review differences, 15 pre-connection checks, a labelled three-tier decision rubric, what ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini Spark do and do not vet for you, a sandbox pilot test and vendor procurement questions. Claims are cited inline to the Model Context Protocol security and authorization material, first-party platform documentation and OWASP guidance used as secondary reference. Related MCP guides were updated so registry or package review is no longer described as absent everywhere, and self-hosting is no longer implied to keep prompts and tool results away from a cloud assistant.

    Capability classification tightened after editorial review of the new matrix.

    Interactive surfaces are no longer counted as write actions when classifying a connection, so "retrieval + actions" now means a documented create, update, delete or send action. Gemini Enterprise Atlassian attachment verbs moved into the create and update entries they belong to. Gemini Enterprise monday.com delete support is recorded as not confirmed because Google names no specific end-user delete action. Gemini Enterprise Salesforce no longer carries a run-action capability, since no end-user action is documented. ChatGPT OneDrive wording now says file changes are not documented rather than unsupported.

    New reference page generated from the central connection records: 16 applications across ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, 48 documentation-verified relationships, each showing product surface, documented retrieval and documented actions. The page is derived, so record corrections update it automatically.

    ChatGPT OneDrive, Outlook, Dropbox, Box and Asana; Claude Dropbox, Box and Salesforce; and Gemini Enterprise SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, Dropbox, Box, Notion, Salesforce, Asana, monday.com and Atlassian were verified against current first-party documentation accessed 2026-09-09. Gemini Enterprise records are labeled as administrator-configured Google Cloud connectors, not Connected Apps in the ordinary Gemini app, and preview, allowlist and regional restrictions are recorded rather than flattened. Every tracked pair now carries published, source-backed claims.

    Claude Asana, Claude monday.com, Claude Atlassian, ChatGPT monday.com and ChatGPT Atlassian were re-checked against current vendor documentation. No material capability change was found; verification and planned review dates were advanced.

    Guides that explain concepts and evaluation process were published. Guides that depend on availability, plan, or setup facts remain drafts with a noindex directive until sources are attached.

    OpenAI documents a Slack app for ChatGPT, so the relationship was verified and the comparison guide, which previously described Slack as ChatGPT-unavailable, was rewritten alongside it.

    Claude + Microsoft OneDrive, Claude + Microsoft Outlook and Claude + Notion moved out of research pending against current first-party documentation. The new ChatGPT vs Claude vs Gemini comparison derives every count and status from those central records.

    Six ChatGPT connection records re-verified, with four capability corrections.

    The ChatGPT Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack, Microsoft SharePoint and Notion records were re-checked against OpenAI's current app and plugin documentation. Google Drive and SharePoint changed from read-only with optional user sync to live individual access plus separate administrator-managed indexing, with conditional file actions. Gmail now documents reply drafting inside ChatGPT, while provider-side draft saving and sending remain unconfirmed. Google Calendar now documents conditional event and meeting creation, with updates and deletions unconfirmed. Notion no longer supports individual sync, and previously configured individual sync connections are no longer available. Slack was re-verified without capability changes, with the ChatGPT app installed inside Slack distinguished from Slack connected inside ChatGPT.

    Claude's Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, GitHub and Notion records, Gemini's Google Workspace and GitHub records, and the ChatGPT HubSpot record were re-checked against current first-party documentation. Two claims changed: Claude's Google Drive connector now documents sharing, moving and trashing files with approval by default, and Claude's Outlook write tools document deleting calendar events while mail deletion remains undocumented. The remaining ChatGPT records were re-verified separately in the same review cycle.
